Angry Stripped Spark Plug - Any suggestions???

Ok so the back rotor, trailing spark plug was a pain to get out , when I finally got it out, I saw why....

So now I need some suggestions on how to fix spark plug hole so I can put in the new spark plug.

Read this thread, and I'm thinking of trying it out....
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...oil+spark+plug

Would like to know if anyone has some different suggestions??????

Thanks

Looking for a way to fix by hand, without power tools if at all possible.

Heli-Coil - http://www.emhart.com/products/helicoil.asp
You may want a mechanic experienced in installing one to do it.

Yes, but if you look at the threads of the plug, a lot of the holes thread material is gone. I fear tapping out the hole won't be successful.
I've never used the product. There may be a better way. I just know helicoils have been used for stripped plug holes.

its questionable not knowing how much is there if its less that half tapping would be questionable if not impossible. and if you have to sleeve deffenty take it somewhere to have done by someone that has done it and takes care of a mess up that could save you in the long run

The new spark plug will not even go in far enough to stay in.
of course everyone around here is closed on sundays so i will have some calling to do first thing in the morning.

I,m headed up to ACE to check out the kit that they have and see if it will be worth a try.
