Odd steering (alignment maybe?)

If anyone say my other thread about the trunk strut bar you'll know what im about to talk about.

My issue has nothing to do with the trunk bar for starters.

I am trying to figure out what is wrong with the feel of the car. Since tuesday it just hasn't felt right when I'm driving. The steering feels odd and it kind feels like there is some play in the steering when turning left, like the wheel moves but the car doesn't but to the right it immediately starts to turn.

It just feel shakey, like it wants to float around the road and sometimes it kinda feels like the back end is drifting, yet on a straight, flat as possibly, peice of road if I let go of the wheel it goes pretty straight. It just fling itself to one side or anything.

Cornering feels ok.

I guess it's just really hard to explain but something just doesn't feel right and it feels much different than it did previous to tuesday.

I though my driver side rear was a bit lower than the passenger side and it still seems to be but not by much maybe 1/4 to a 1/3 on a inch lower.

Looking under the car I didn't notice any thing out of place but I wouldn't really know what to look for. Want to see if I can diagnose what might be a problem before I take it somewhere and get charged for them to say it's fine.

Check wheel lugs (particularly on the right side) It could also be a loose bolt on the suspension, like the alignment bolts, (once again particularly on the right side)

can you like to some schematic or a photo of what I need to look for since I have ZERO idea of what exactly you are talking about. (in regards to the alignment bolt)

Wheel lugs I can check.

since you bring up suspension bolts, I am going to guess the bolts I removed to install the trunk bar are NOT the bolts you are talking about. The consensus in the other thread was that the bar has nothing to do with this and I confirmed this kinda by taking the bar out and driving for day without and that cause no change.

Grab some socket wrenches (17mm, 19mm, 21mm). Put them on all the suspension bolts you can see. It helps to turn the steering wheel full right and check bolts on both sides and then turn the sterring full left and check both sides again. If you can turn any of the bolts, you will then need an alighment.

Take the tire wrench out of the trunk and try to tighten all the lug nuts on all four wheels.( there are 5 lug nuts per wheel) This would be the first thing I would check. I had a friend that almost had a wheel come off her car.

the wheel lugs were ok. I didn't get a chance to mess with the suspension bolts though. I may just wait till my under bracing comes and check them then before installing.
