hi,i have a problem with my rx-8.is a challenge 2004 with 49k and some times when i reach the 7 rpm starts a very strange noise sound like to be under the car everytime i push the cluch pedal the noise stops and then starts again,the only way to stop it is to turn off the engine and start it again,i also change transmition fluids(redline) and cluch kit (exedy) before 3months after that starts make these weird noise,thnx a lot

 

Sound like a chirp? could be a exhaust leak if its at the 7,000 RPM range.

 

yes sounds something like that and the noise starting when i reach 7rpm,so you say maybe a exhaust problem!thnx a lot m8
