Arrow stock rx8 exhaust clamp

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if it's possible to seperate the front pipe section of the stock catback from the muffler part? The's a clamp that I've removed, but after lots of wd-40 and lots of pullying/prying, I'm basically looking for confirmation that the two can be seperated. I'm trying to store the stock exhuast under a stairwell and I need the two to come apart.

Anybody know? TIA

I think it is actually crimped on in some way.....you could cut it off the end you don't want and remove the piece easily...

thanks for the replies. I'm pretty sure it looks crimped, but it technically does wiggle now. It looks like you'd take the clamp off, then rotate the pipe about 1.5 inches and it'd slide off...but it's not playing nice lol

You can slice it with a cutoff wheel on opposite sides a bit...and it will come off easily as well...then you can weld it back together easily
