Still not working so I need actually advice
Hello, I posted long time ago about the adventure I am going through with my RX8 ,
So, after long time of waiting for the engine to arrive and took like forever to get installed into the car,
they found that the one ecu that come with the engine I bought with number n3j9 didn't match my immobilizer said the mechanic .
also I can't get the VIN of my car clearly, since everything was wiped off
**After I bought the car by 3 month I find out that the car was actually stolen from JAPAN ... and went through many countries before I got it over here
Nether do I nor the local seller (as he claimed ) knew about this
anyway , I showed the local police my papers and everything was done legal and been in courts for few months already to order in my said to keep the car, and the owner of the car was covered (somehow)
anyway this is not our problem for now
I took the car home after non of the local mechanics was able to start it and I don't trust any of them . the first one (lost) my ecu ! and here where all the problem started
WHAT HAVE I TRIED SO FAR
got the engine ECU plugged an did not work
tried to pass the immobilizer (said the mechanic ) didnot work
contacted the local mazda dealer said they got nothing to do with RX8s since they never actually bring any of them ( there is only 5 maybe 6) rx8 here .
I called a friend with obd reader , and he said it could not communicate with the ECU
here is a photo for my cluster while the key is on the on position .
the engine will CRANK but will not FIRE UP
coils/injectos/fuel pump all new
so I have the car under my hands now , so I can do everything that you guys suggest...

Are you in the US, and do you have plate number on the car? If so I can look up the VIN so you can have that, just PM me if you do and include the state.
As far as the starting issue here is a brief list as to why, cross them off as you go:
◦flooded
◦ignition failure
◦fuel pump failure
◦e-shaft sensor fouled
◦fuel pump failure
◦engine compression loss
◦starter failure
◦fuel system leak

Are you in the US, and do you have plate number on the car? If so I can look up the VIN so you can have that, just PM me if you do and include the state.

as for the problems , I checked all of the above , all seems find except for the coils wont get power to the sparks to ignite the engine , the mechanic said it's a communication problem between the ECU and and the car, because of the immobilizer, and I don't know how to fix it and the dealer here is a vegetable !

Well no, I am not in the states, as I said in my past thread I live in Qatar, but thanks for the offer :D

From the other issues you've stated seems like a problem with the ECU, might have to replace it? Sorry, that's the best conclusion I have.

well, a problem used to be that I could not EVER find any EcU with immobilizer and keys for an AT rx8... and just now I FINALLY found one !
just contacted the seller , and lets hope it's the right one for me , and that I can get the car running before summer vacation so we can have some serious fun
