Startup stuttering

Startup stuttering
Hey guys,
Before anything, I DID search this up before and I have a decent idea of what the problem is but I would like your opinion.
During startups, warm or cold starts, the engine cranks beautifully but it takes longer to start up because of this "stuttering" or hesitation to turn over. I had a compression test done in March and the numbers ranged from 7.8-8.1 in both rotors @ 250rpm, although that may have changed so I will be visiting the dealership again.
My 8 does have the recalled starters for the 04/05 models, but I was considering asking the dealership I would like the NZ31 starter and new plugs/coils/wires. Last time I visited the dealership they said the ignition isn't in the best condition but it is not bad either, so they cleaned the plugs and whatnot and I was on my way.
The car does not stall out on me and it still redlines with ease and I havn't noticed any power loss(yet)!
Thank you,
khaira93

Sounds like you just need to replace the ignition. ~$190-220 if you buy the parts yourself and take the hour to install them. $600-$1200 if you have the dealer do it.

This part tells me that your ignition is old, coils, plugs, and wires. Nothing the dealer does will indicate the condition of the ignition outside of misfire count check. Cleaning plugs is complete BS, they need to be replaced. If the plugs are fouled, the coils start dying fast.
