Starting problem :(

I've had my car since February, its an 05, MT with 80k on it. Today for work I had to go to a nearby town and get a dump truck. So me and another guy go, I get the truck ready to go, and he goes "dude how do you start your car?" Im kinda like wtf, but whatever, I go to start it, and NOTHING. I turn the key, and nothing happens. I had drove the car about 400km's in the last 2 days with no problems. My lights stay nice and bright, everything is working great, just nothign happens. I want to assume my starter is done, but dont they atleast tick or whine or anythign when they go? Can anyone help me out here

Also, I did quadruple check to make sure the clutch pedal is fully depressed.

are the wheels locked? sometimes if you turn the wheels when the car is off, it'll lock up.

try wiggling the steering wheel.

if that doesn't work, does it make any sound at all when you try to start? i think a blown starter sounds like fast tiny clicking.

no the wheels are not locked.

and No there is no sound at all, you turn the key, and nothing.

I forgot to add that I bump started the car to get it going, drove it for a while, stopped on a hill, it wouldnt start again, so i rolled down the hill to self bump start it again.

I'd also like to mention I'm from Ontario, and in Alberta for the next 6 months, so I can't really go back to the dealer.

did you start it, not let it warm up, then shut it off. then try to start it again?

well I drove it 77 km's shut it off for about 4 minutes, then it wouldn't start. Apparently you also have reading problems. Remember how I said "I forgot to add that I bump started the car to get it going, drove it for a while, stopped on a hill, it wouldnt start again, so i rolled down the hill to self bump start it again."

That probably means I let the car warm up. Go put your buzzer away, and let someone who can read try and help me.

UPDATE:

I tried my other key, it didnt do anything, tried again, and my tach fluttred, tried it once more, and it fired right up like always. I drove it around, MADE SURE IT WAS WARM, shut it off, and it fired up again, except now, I have a CEL. Any Ideas anyone?

I kinda had a problem like this, but it was my battery. Driving would be fine, then being off for a while the amps would drop badly, and all it was was a ton of corrosion from a small crack. Hope you figure it out.
