Exclamation Stalling, Dies out and then runs again

I have a 2005 Mazda RX8 with 29K miles, automatic. The problem is when the car reaches normal temperature it will run and then stall and then after it has cooled down a bit run again.

Has anybody experienced this and is it under warranty?

get a compression test from your dealer, it should be free

you most likely need a new engine and since you have an 05 with low miles, you will still have your 8year/100k mile warranty (assuming you live in the states)

also don't take any bullshit from your dealer

Does it looked melted to you?

Tell them you want a compression test done, you do have to pay for it. I think if it turns out you do need a new engine then you do not have to pay for it. Make sure they give you a piece of paper with the results of the test and post them here.
