Squeal or Suction sound

1st gear around 6000 RPM acellerating hard, very faint, almost inaudible
2nd gear at the same RPM a more defined squeal-ish sound, lasts half a second at most. Cant tell if its the stock airbox pulling air hard and its whistling or the belt slips for that split second.

Anyone experience this? I am going to look at tightening the belts tonight and see if it changes anything.

I can hear the squeal much more defined at 8-9500 RPM and lasts longer at this RPM point. A friend who works on cars drove her and heard it as well. He doesnt think its the belts, and said it sounds more like a loose bolt rubbing a washer at high speed.

Anyone help!!

Ugh, I call a dealership just to see if Service has any general ideas on the sound... His first comment, why are you driving the car at such high RPM... WTF Really?

There is little to gain above 8.5k rpm besides a lot of engine wear. Don't get any squeal in my car
