ok i just noticed a new sound from the rear of the car when starting out from a stop and going slowly i hear a squeaking sound consistent with one or both of the wheels revolving. when i get above 20 MPH or so it goes away or maybe it continues and i can't hear it because the exhaust starts to really growl then. it's not the ABS thud this is a squeak. brakes are not applied. any ideas?

 

sticking parking brake?

 

thats what i thought. i'm bringing it in for a new clock spring(steering wheel makes a clicking sound when turning it) thursday so i'll mention it to them then. i have the "N" flash should i mention i want "P"?

 

dust shields?

dealership couldn'y duplicate. i hear it every time i drive the car. didn't give me the p flash either although i didn't ask for it. i have n now.

 

i'd say dust shield or parking brake out of adjustment. haha of course the dealer could reproduce teh sound you aren't out of warrenty yet...amazing what they find wrong when you are

Maybe it's the wheels on that Radio Flyer that you always tie onto your rear bumper. Did you untie it when you took the car in for service?

You describe a noise, I've heard for a couple of months, including the dealer unable to duplicate... He has suggested a "ride-along trip", haven't had the time for another appointment. I checked the parking brake and brake shield. I'va also noticed that when I engage the clutch, the noise stops. Like to know what your dealer says ...

 

Iv also noticed something wierd like that and it bugs the **** out of me... ******* my dealer hates me b/c iv yelled at them so many times for just being ********...
