Spark plug question from a noob

please be kind.

im considering changing my coils, plugs and wires and come across some very usefull diy's, but this concept of trailing and leading plugs just confuses me?

ive purchased 4 iridium plugs online, but now im unsure if there are specific plugs for the leading or trailing plugs

can someone help clarify this concept of leading and trailing plugs?

Yes, there are two specific plugs for each...When you ordered them, did you specify you wanted 2 of each?

If so, the bottom of the box should have an L or T...When you install them, there are little T and L marks embedded by each insert.

Plug number ends in either L or T

L goes on the bottom (Lower)

T goes on top (Top)

...easy to remember, right?

Make sure you identify the plugs by the markings on the plugs, not just what the box says. Plugs sometimes wind up in the wrong boxes.

Access through the front drivers-side wheel well. Change one at a time, so you don't get confused(Marked with T or L).
