So, the car still isn't running. I'm desperate..

Maybe you guys can help me here, maybe not. 3 months ago, backed the 8 into a parking spot, it died. Wouldn't crank, wouldn't do anything. Thought it was the immobilizer in the PCM. So, bought a used one, sent it out to Racing Beat, had them flash it and well. It still doesn't work. Basically what I've determined is the PCM can't communicate with the car, it get's fuel but the whining sound it makes with the key on, there's none of that. Every SINGLE idiot light on the dash is on. When you turn the key to "start" all the relays tick, but it does that with or without the PCM. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction? Or would be so kind to help a guy out. I've done a ridiculous amount of searching on here, and all over the web. I guess I should also say that EVERY SINGLE fuse and relay is good/tested good. Even the one in the PCM Box itself. If you guys might have ANY clue, please, speak up. I'm absolutely desperate now. Also, please feel welcome to give me a call with any leads. 513 575 8829

If I can't get this figured out, then it'll just sit and I'll sell all the goodies on the car and purchase another vehicle. I'm at a loss as to what to do. It's sat more this year than it's been on the road.
Thanks

Check the wiring harness that runs on top of the transmission, specifically the black connectors for the reverse switch. See if they are shorted or broken.

I'll get on that asap. Anything else I might try?

Well, I found it. What I'm assuming is the body harness, that runs up along the drivers fender past the fuse box and into the firewall is melted. I don't know how I didn't see it before, or smell it for that matter. But, I'd say half of the wires in the loom are melted together to the point where no insulation is remaining on the wires.
I have no idea how this happened, or what caused it...or why no fuses blew. I don't even know if I can source this harness, and it appears that the dash will have to be torn apart to replace it.

I saved this link from another poster on her earlier in the week. Wish I could give credit but I don't remember who it was...

Maybe you can chase the wires down and repair/replace/resplice them. Could be worse. At least they didn't catch fire.

You also need to figure out what went wrong if possible so it doesn`t happen again

As for the Mediafire account...it`s free up to certain bandwidth....so just download it if you need it...or I will get locked out
