Serious of problems

Series of problems
Long story short, I ran my car overheating due to the fact I was too busy keeping the idle up(I changed the battery). I didn't notice until I saw smoke coming from the hood, the gauges was all the way to the E, and now the car won't turn on. I live in the NYC area does anybody knows where I can get a rebuilt engine or even if it's possible get mines rebuilt. Please I really need the help.

Yes an overheated Renesis typically means certain failure.
However there are quite a few (and fragile) coolant hoses and a tank (very common to break) around the battery.
You could have broken something and instead of overheating (still possible) you're instead dumping hot coolant everywhere.
Do you see a leak?
