Hi guys...Can anyone tell me how to remove the rotary emblem from the seat of my RX8 w/out damaging it so I can paint it to match the car?

 

I was curious.. so I just removed mine to see how to do it.
Its held by 4 clips.
I'll take some pics and post them... be right back

 

Like I said above... its held on by 4 clips, one on each side and two at the bottom!
The first pic shows the side clips after I got them detached.
Just use a flat head screwdriver to push the tabs down.
You'll have to push the seat material back so that your screwdriver doesn't scratch the emblem.
The second pic shows the back of the emblem. Notice that there are no tabs on the bottom of the emblem.
You'll need to use the flat head to push up on the bottom tabs too.

Hi I have a 2006 rx8 can anybody tell me where I can buy a rotary emblem for a rx8 seat my driver side emblem broke.

 

for searching and finding this thread. Check the vendor forums. There are a few vendors that sell oem parts I think.
