Rx8 reverse lights not working

I had my transmission replaced some months ago. Now, the backup lights are not working. Just noticed it. Bulbs are good. Can't determine which fuse is correct. Don't know where to find/connect the tranny switch or it this is a computer issue.

This is a 2005 6Spd Manual RX8. Series I

Anyone deal with this before? Need to get the reverse lights working for inspection.

Make sure that they hooked the wires up properly...it is possible that they are either not connected..or they broke one of them trying to undo the connectors when they pulled the tranny

The wiring is quite simple..there are 4 spade connectors on the tranny..... drivers side up top behind the shift lever.

So do I get to this by removing the shift boot or by crawling under the car and reaching around?

Crawl under the car about Mid Transmission up top.

You can't reach them from inside, you have to get under the car.
You'll see white and black connectors. The black ones are for the reverse switch.
