As for the heater problem, turn the **** all the way to right for full heat, then tightly turn it a little more as if your turning it all the way around. It may sound wierd but it worked for me. If anyone has any ideas on this thread on what the problem could be please respond.

To me, your two posts come across as demanding a handout. Why? Two different issues, neither of which is related to this thread other than a quick reference to "Im having the exact same problem". So is this 3 issues? or 2 issues and you aren't actually having the same issue? If you do have the same problem as the OP in this thread, the solution is presented for you if you read further. So you either aren't willing to read the thread for the solution, or you aren't willing to read the thread to see that your posts don't belong here. But you post anyway "and screw tact, appropriate posting location, and any respect for the OP in the thread you are trying to hijack. So you just want us to hand you the answers, with an addition of "please respond" on the end adds to the demanding feel. "Anyone ever heard of this issue?" implies that you think that this is the first time that an air pump has ever failed on any car.

Assuming that you have 3 problems here, one is solved in the thread you posted in. The other two are easily solved through appropriate searching. Yes, the answers are out there. You just have to read to get them. But then, if we posted the answers here, you would still have to read to get them here too.

I might have given you the answers straight up, but your posts irk me.

Maybe it's just my mood at the moment.

Maybe you will have better luck with someone else, or with Google.

I had a similar problem, and after a lot of head scratching i found that the S.S.V was stuck shut, it is located under the intake manifold just behind the thermostat housing, its vaccum operated and should be free, however there is a breather pipe attatched and they get clogged up and stick shut, therefore it will not let the additional air into the induction, try cleaning, videos are available on youtube that show how to do this, all it cost me was a tin of carb cleaner and a tube of hilomar to re-seal the gaskets
