rx8 door light

Hi Guys, I'm a new rx8 owner. I've had the car about 6 months and love it.

I'm having a problem with the interior door lights though.

Whenever it rains or is wet outside the door lights on either side click on and off rapidly. It happens too when Im not in the car because I've walked up to the car at night or in the morning and I can hear the thing clicking like mad.

I know it has to be draining the battery doing that for hours on end.

Which fuse can I remove to stop that light temporarily?

Also, what is a more permanent solution?

Thanks for any help you guys can give !

The last fuse before the courtesy lights is the ROOM fuse... which you can not run without.

Looking at the electrical diagram, I would focus around the map and light switches for any shorts.
Have you done anything around there lately... such as new bulbs?

Thanks for the reply !

I havent changed or added anything. It has the stock sound system and speakers and everything so everything is original. I guess the best thing to do would be to take it in and have them check the electrical system in that area ?
