Once you start moving the air flow is there and the system does what it was designed to do. When there is no air flow pressure builds and could account for the readings you were getting on the gauges. Look at the fans first and go from there. Good luck.
Thanx but no, both fans turn and speed up with a/c kicked on and I have the stock air box gone for more air flow. Hopefully the compressor isn't trying to give out, I noticed it dragging the car down so bad it has been squeaking the belts. Let me clarify, it was a Tad low on freon and we put more in, might be too much, would too high of pressure drag the compressor?

Yes but it would take quite a bit to do that. Do you have a set of gauges on it; what are the readings?

I posted a reply yesterday but I don't see it, how strange. Any how, No need for me to worry about it now since something in my clutch went epic failure. Thanks for your info and input.

Cracked Evaporator Core

My AC has been running hot here in FL as well. Took it to Countryside Mazda. They quoted me about $1700 to get a new Evaporator Core (part number FE021J10A). Seems a bit steep to me but I don't know.
