how do repair the push button on door handle that opens the door?

your RX8 is a push button opener? or do you mean for the locks?

He must be talking about the smart key access button. Yeah, I'm having the same problem. Is the "KEY" light flashing red or stable red on your gauge cluster?

I can't find any procedure in regards to troubleshooting this problem.. no idea where to start looking.
