Okay car runnin rough. Sounds like its misfiring at around 5000rpm. Was rebuild professionally about 5000miles ago. Got new plugs, leads and coils. Lightweight flywheel, lightweight pullys and AEM induction. Full decat exhaust. Exedy stage 2 clutch. Street port

If i drive normally it pops at every gear change and if i put clutch down revs will drop right down bounce abit then car cuts out. Has been fine untill now. However just had lughtweight fly and pullys fitted. Could b related? CIL is on will have it read in a couple days.

Any ideas?

Orderd new MAF & MAP sensors just to be sure. Just read ESS cleaning thread but cant find the ESS to clean it DOH!

Okay. Cleaned ESS. New MAF & MAP sensors installed. Spark plugs are new. And its still doing it. Rebuild is fresh so i kno compression is fine. Scary stuff

 

Likely related to something touched or moved when the new mods were installed.
Go back and re-check everything touched and make sure it was properly reinstalled.

 

Kicking up P0172 error. System too rich

 

There is no Map sensor on the RX8 that is your problem

 

The atmospheric sensor on airpump thingy. Thought was MAP sensor

 

That's the Baro Sensor
