RH Taillight Problems w/ Sirius Radio??
I have the OEM Sirius satellite radio on my RX-8. It was installed by the dealer. The cable for the Sirius antenna attaches to the trunk and goes around the trunk area and ends up finally behind the rear taillight. The reason I bring this up is because after going through SIX new RH rear taillights, I have yet to see the condensation problem rectified. The dealer keeps replacing the taillight, but it never solves the problem. The only think I can think of is that somehow the antenna cable in back of the taillight is causing the issue?? It was installed as Mazda stated in their instructions and the cable is extremely thin. However, my car is going out of warranty next year, and I would like this problem solved before then. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Other than the atenna cable...
It's a bad ground. recheck the radio mounting, check the CD install DIY thread for location.
Also in the old days it was a bad supressor, non resistant plugs or indication of a bad coil. Check for loose plug wires/plug too!
Go to Elctronics forumn for more help too!
