Hey guys I was just got my used 2005 Rx8 with an engine replaced on it by the dealership. I however noticed that some engine oil has been leaking when parked. Was wondering if this is anything to be worried about seeing that the new engine might just have 100 miles on it. Any help would be great!

 

While reading other peoples post, I am thinking its either a gasket going bad or OMP. Does anyone know what type of symptoms does the OMP give when its about to go bad?

 

Either take that thing back to the dealer ASAP and have them deal with it, or jack it up and find the source and then take it back to the dealer and have them deal with it.

 

Thanks for the reply! I will be bringing it to the dealership tomorrow morning. Was just wondering though do you know what are the symptoms of the OMP going out? Would there be a warning light that would pop out?

 

Ok just an update the dealer apparently found a loose oil line, so they just fixed it for free and its leak free YAY!!
