Recalls finally added to the Mazda Web Site

Ever since the heat and ball joint recalls were released on the NHTSA site, I have been watching the owners section of the Mazda USA site. I even called MNAO last week to ask why they never update the website.

Today is the first day that the recalls are listed for my car in the owners section. The recall date for both is listed as 7/20. It took them from 7/20 to 9/1 to update the website.

Glad that it wasn't a recall for your car may explode if you open the driver's door.

Still no letters.

I got my letter yesterday, but now I must wait awhile for my dealership to accept the order of the recall next week. I kinda hope my car explodes, with the gas prices, I want to buy a more gas friendly car like a Hybrid Prius or a used Geo Metro or something.

i got both letters today as well. but i'm kind of hesitant on taking it in to get all that **** replaced. i can't stand other people working on my car. the thermal recall doesn't seem to be that important to me since it involves the car to be run extremely hot at a dead stop. the ball joint thing i don't think i would mind since it involves a 4 wheels alignment...which i do need.

Just got the heat letter today, will call tomorrow for the appointment, want the break squeal and dipstick TSB done at the same time. Haven't got the ball joint one. They should know I don't get my ball joint lubricated nearly enough!

I didn't get my letters yet either, but I did get a package from Mazda. They sent me a small bottle of TiGray touch up paint and a coupon for a full service inspection I am going to call them when I get home from school this weekend and try to get it to the dealer, maybe they can do the recalls while they're flashing me. Mind out of the gutter! :p

Beachdog,
I've been watching that site too, and it indicated that my car was clean. I thought the recalls didn't apply to me. I just checked and now it shows that I need the recalls. Thanks for the update.
