rear side-marker lights goes out
Hi, my name is François and I'm having a problem with my tail lights: The leds you can see on the picture (the position lights on the left of the picture in front of the red reflector; not the brake, reverse or signal lights) are burned. In the owner manual, it says that I have to go to the dealer to change them.
Is there anybody that has already changed them and what type of LED do I need?
Thanks

1% evil, 99% hot gas.

LEDs are solid-state lights that basically never burn out (100,000 hours+), so likely it's a wiring problem. Check the wiring first.
It is unlikely but possible the solid wire leads going into the LEDs have broken from vibration. If that's the case you would have to disassemble the capsule to get at the LEDs, if they aren't molded into those corner pieces. The capsule is glued shut and not intended to be taken apart. Might be easier to pick up a used one off here or feeBay or elsewhere.
