Radio/Display Issues
So over a year ago my radio display started doing this thing where it would alternate on/off about once every second while the car was off. When I'd turn the car on everything would work properly however so I just ignored it since I wasn't ever able to figure out what the issue was.
Over this past summer I put a sub in my trunk and everything was working great. However, one day when it started to get really cold this fall My radio display didn't come on when the car did, but after about five minutes of driving it sprung to life. I thought it might have just been the cold, but after it happened several times (a few it never came on at all) I took the whole radio and display out of the dash to look for loose connections. I never found any, but after replacing it the radio worked flawlessly for about a week.
After that week it began to flash on/off constantly, whether the car was on or off. When the car is on I have no radio controls, and I can't change the direction of ventilation flow. However it did retain the ability to use the fan speed and temperature control ***** (just not the buttons in the middle). It was really annoying but I could live with it until my battery kept dying if I didn't use the car for more than 3 days or so.
I just disconnected the main radio connector to kill power to it so hopefully that will solve the battery drainage, but does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this? I've checked all the fuses and none are blown. Thanks.

You likely cracked the circuit board or a connector that connects the face to the actual head unit. It's pretty common actually if you are not careful when removing it. When it acts up, try pushing on the faceplate and see if things work, if so it is a crack. If not then the connectors probably became detached completely.

Yeah I read that the faceplate can become detached so I already tried pushing on the front. I guess I'll just take the headunit apart and see if anything isn't connecting. I'm just getting real sick of taking the console apart. I must've done it a dozen times for various reasons since I owned the car. I wouldn't be surprised if I cracked it since the radio has come out at least 5 times. Thanks for the help. I'll post an update.

Update: I took the ENTIRE head unit apart. I made sure everything was clean and connected properly. It's still exhibiting the same behavior as before. Any other suggestions, beside just replacing the head unit?
