I just got a black RX8 2 weeks ago

my car's milege is only 2000km..

but when engine is warm up

i could hear from clutch like squeak ( "gil-gil-" )

what is wrong with my clutch

help me please

 

you mean like a slight grinding noise of gears or something like that? it's when the clutch is out right? when you're warming up the car.

if that's what you mean, then that's a normal sound, so no need to worry

i know when my clutch was going bad it made a noise when ever i just turned on the car and it was stilling at idle!! like a sqeeking clicking noise.if i can remember correctly. i would have someone look at it to idenify the sound...if you wait to long it could ruin other things in there if the clutch goes out completely!! i put an aftermarket clutch in it and when that was done the sound was gone and they looked at my clutch and it was really bad!!! just some first hand experiance!

 

Perfectly normal, this car comes packaged with lots of noise and sound.

 

well when the car is in neutrul, the car makes a noise as if something needs lubrication. but if i press or just touch the clutch the noise is gone. anyone has that problem?

 

that is a normal issue. nothing to worry about.

 

I just bought my car and have been hearing similar sounds as well. Thanks for the clarification xrider, im not worrying my butt off anymore. Has anyone experienced this sound while in gear and giving throttle though? I hear it in 4th and 5th gear.

There are others as well, this issue has been brought up many times...

 

Every time I push my clutch in I hear a sqeeking like a sqeeky bed and its so loud I can hear it outside of the car. This just started 2 weeks ago. I put white litium grease under the steering column where the clutch peddle goes in and I kept spraying with pumping the clutch. This is a temp fix
