about 2 weeks ago i had a problem and took the car to mazda they said they didnt find anything wrong with it, but did a mazda carbon cleaning anyways... said they did compression check and it was almost 8.2 for every face, but didnt have a printout of the numbers when i arrived... ne ways it was free

took the car home and my problem was gone so i was happy for about a week...

the last week ive noticed the vibration slowly getting worse and finally when i got to about 6k rpm the magical light came on!

got it scanned (p2004) ... aka... APV is not working...
that means either
1.)get charged crazy for mazda to fix it... and drive an hour there...

2.) try to fix it myself... maybe its minor.. (motor burned up or something stupid) ...

or 3.) Replace the IM
... If i buy a new lower intake manifold, will all new valves come with it??? APV SSV and VDI??? I figure if i have to take out the whole engine mine as well completely replace the IM
