It says its a random misfire on all cylinders but i drive an 05 rx8.
the car entered what i taught was limp home mode early in the day now the engine light is on and the car runs fine. I'm running Lucas in it now to try and clean away carbon deposits. did I just fowl out the plug's?

Ok more info on my light. My 8 is a 6psd manual with 67k on the engine. upon warm up the exaust smeels real rich, but like I said I'm using an additive the smoke is white few 5 minutes or so upon starting the car. she runs like new again the light is just on still. Did i make it out of this by the skin of my teeth?

 

OK I WAS WRONG..... the noise sounds like its comming from the top end, the ring around the o2 sensor in the cat if not the entire cat glows orange... I imagine its really hot seeing as it smells like somebody is using a torch and the light is now flashing. i still have coolant im burning oil like crazy and the coolant resevoir looks as if there oil in it cant be certain its dark out. limping to mazda in the morning how fucked am i?
