Pin the E-shaft sensor for the noob.

ok, now that you got a good laugh out of the title. I just want to confirm a couple of things.
1. is this the e-shaft?

2. where is the best angle to take out the e-shaft sensor?
3. Im taking it out to clean as advise due to the problem I'm having.

It's near the main pulley. If you really have any doubts follow the teeth behind the main\crank pulley.

I just stick my finger in a hole under the car with a rag and wipe it clean.
