P0336 came on.

Can anyone tell me if this is bad? I was driving last night in the rain, and the car spun out, and the car shut off. I started the car, and I had the engine light on. Got home checked and got a P0366 which i think means "
P0336 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance"

I cleared the code cause it was bothering me. Quick help would be awsome. thanks guys!

You should be safe to just reset the PCM and clear the code (or wait for a couple dive cycles).
Disconnect the battery for a few minutes.

are you having hard starts? if you do than you need a new starter, cause I had the same code and I went to dealer and they changed the crankshaft position sensor and that didnt help, after I changed the starter everything was fine, but like I said before I was having hard starts

first thing it would do is reset the sensor.

turn the car to on, do not start it. tap the brake pedal 20 times real fast. you should see the oil pressure gauge sweep from low to hi and back.

see if that helps. you could have just got some crud up in the area. flash light and a bit of time..
