over heating

I recently am having my 05 rx8 worked on at mazda dealership. I had to have the coolant reservoir and radiator replaced and now mazda is telling me that its still over heating and they dont know why. They tell me that it may have a blown head gasket and may need a new engine. Knowing theres no head gasket im like wtf is wrong with you people. Anyone maybe have any reasons why it might still be over heating?

Rotaries tend to run hot. Is the temo guage moving? What makes them say its overheating, Smoke? Coolant disappearing? whats the issue here with it. We need more details also use the search button.

Oh boy. Overheating light? No such thing.

Did the new reservoir you got have a new coolant level sensor in it? There are two new versions, one comes with a new sensor, one does not (cheaper).

What does your coolant temp gauge say? And what do you mean by hot in the car? do you have the heater on?

That's not an overheating light! It's the flux capacitor getting ready. Hit 88mph and see what happens!.

What light are you actually seeing? And exactly after 80mph? I could be wrong, but I remember a thread where someone with a bad cat was also getting heat in the cabin, as it is right under the passenger mat.
