Will not having my omp connected put my 2004 in limp mode

... you mean the same OMP that is responsible for injecting oil into your rotor housings ? ... pretty sure a lot worse will happen than just running limp

Yes, it will put your car in limp mode.

You can pull the shaft and it will think its running and not pump oil. However the location of where these oil squirters are pointed is key to side seal longevity. Remember, since we have side exhaust (the exhaust exits via the side irons) the side seals receive an abundant amount of heat. The oil squirters help this area. We have tried removing it based on some advice and found this to be a very bad move.

my car was in limp mode couldn't figure it out got under and took off the cat and saw one of the wires was cut so i diy the connector and got it working. Any body know where to get an new harness for it

oh god no i still want to have a half *** working motor tomorrow. Is that harness dealer only i can't seem to find one anywhere

A good soldering job will save you money. No need for a new harness just do the wiring correctly.

they don't need to be, just rest your arm on the cat or something solid when you do it. Or if you can get a neighbor. But save yourself the money its just wiring and you can solder/seal that bad boy up yourself.
