my roommate wants to learn how to drive stick. i'm confident i can teach her, but i'm afraid to find out how well my 8 will handle a beginner. are constant engine kills bad for the car?

 

I dont think you want to risk your car's clutch on a newbie. if she messes it up, the replacement money comes from your pocket(plus the time)

Unless she is someone that you want to *go* for .... you know what I mean :P

Find her a beat up Civic. it shouldnt be hard.
