Odd noises. Help Anyone?
Alright so I have only had my 8 for 4 months already had to spend $3, but thats in the past now. I do not remember if I bought this car when it made these sounds, but 2 months ago I realized that my transmission makes an odd like gurgling/water running noise. I tried a transmission fluid flush, but that didn't help.
Is this a problem, or is it normal?
Also lately sometimes in certain conditions when I step on the brakes, it will brake normally then all of sudden it will feel as if my brakes are not working cus my car will not decelerate. Is this normal or should I get it checked out. It has happened maybe only three times within the last 3 weeks. I took my car to the mountains twice and ran it hard, but never had this issue.
Thanks,
Mike

What did you spend $3 on? Would help to know other issues you had.
For the trans, need more info. Does it make the sound im gear? In neutral? Stopped or moving? Moving under throttle or coasting?
For the brakes, sounds weird, might start by bleeding the brake lines thoroughly.

The noise is the most quiet when I am in nuetral and stopped, usually not a bother. The noise does get louder and stays that way when I am coasting and accelerating. It seems to be loder on certain gears, but it changes every now and then so it is not a specific gear. I know its from the transmission because I tried partly covering the shift boot with my hand when driving and it is noticeably quieter.
I hope this helps.
Thanks.
