SC Not Starting Flooded Bad

I have had the car for a while 2004 RX8 Stick. I have flooded her berfore and have always been able to get it started. This time, NOPE! I tried a few times and have replaced the plugs and recharged battery. I use jumper cables and keep trying the process.

Unplug air pump and fuel pump Crank a few seconds let off do it for a minute stop for a minute do it again for a minute. PLug Fuel pump fuse in and crank. Suppose to start. but doesnt. So I unplug fuse and do the above mention steps. I did it for about an hour and still nothing. (I have tried this 3 times for a few hours each time)

My 8 has been sitting for 3 weeks now.

HELLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!

I am sure there is a trick they uwe at the Dealership.

Thanks in advance

take out the spark plug and Eccentric Shaft Position Sensor plug crank a few second and let all that gasoline out from the spark plug hole

Clean the spark ,plug Eccentric shaft position sensor and press 20 times the brake pedal in 8 sec to reset it

if fail repeat my EXP took me like 3 or 4 times to the engine start.

If the battery is good, alternator is ok and the typical deflooding procedures have been tried...

...could it possibly be a starter issue? Typically you don't want to keep cranking on it when you're trying to deflood it.

btw, dumb question - have you tried push-starting it.

Take out the fuel pump fuse.
then keep turning your switch until smoke stops coming out.
then put the fuse back in.
Its always worked for me when this happens...

this will take like 20 mins.

you will probably need to jump your car off while you do this cuz it will drain your battery quick

I had this issue today. I had replaced my all coils and cleaned my spark plugs. Still couldn't get it to start.... tried all day. Then reluctantly (very reluctantly), I placed my car in 3rd gear and push started my car. She rolled right over... Never had that much trouble before either.

PR

hahaha funny yesterday the bodyshop flooded my car well it was my fault of not tell them about "Don't turn off the car cold"

Well this time was even harder to deflood then last time. Last time like I said
take out the spark plug and Eccentric Shaft Position Sensor plug crank a few second and let all that gasoline out from the spark plug hole

Clean the spark ,plug Eccentric shaft position sensor and press 20 times the brake pedal in 8 sec to reset it

if fail repeat my EXP took me like 3 or 4 times
Well Fail this time took me like 7 hr of cleaning spark and cranking so here my trick last time:

. Have a friend to help you with the car and to talk about woman or something cause this could take time to work

. Have battery charger, jumper or anything to help the battery to crank cuz it will drain your battery quick

. Take out the spark out and the Fuse of Fuel and crank it with accelerator pedal on the floor then see if the spark hole are wet with gasoline and also the spark. clean it if are wet I use " BRAKE/CARB CLEANER" and Sheets of sandpaper but be very careful with the sandpaper just take out the Carbon.

. Then put back all and crank it with accelerator pedal on the floor if fail and would fail repeat like 3 or 4 time maybe would work like me the first time Flood the rx8. If fail like Today took me 7 hr to deflood it If nothing of I tell you before work so here was my trick:

. Clean the spark like did before Break cleaner and sandpaper

.take out the fuse of fuel

.my friend spray brake cleaner directly to the throttle when I was cranking the engine with the accelerator pedal press at the floor

. It was making like is going to start but fail then my friend start spraying brake cleaner and with his hand block the throttle and then make more like would start but fail.

. Then we said maybe there too much air and well we have the idea of but back the air intake back and take out the chamber resonator is in the side of the intake hose. remember all this was with the fuse fuel out

. Then my friend spray brake cleaner in chamber resonator when I start cranking with acc pedal at floor like 20 sec cranking and my friend spraying brake cleaner and blocking with his hand the small hole of the chamber then the car start hint: Don't ever take out you foot of the acc pedal because the rev would go crazy try with your foot control it but don't let the car turn off then when you have the control of this BASTARD Rev the car at Red line like 8 time then let the car control itself.

SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH SPANISH IS MY FIRST LANGUAGE.

So I got her started. Fresh PLugs. freshly charged Battery set of jumper cables off of another car and about 3 hours.

Never found the ESS so didnt clean it. But did pump brake pedal 20x to clear what i think was the RAM.

After she started she drove just fine.

Thanks for all the help.

Also, good time to into the age of the coils. If they are bad, the best spark plugs it the world will not help. When I got mine (60,000 miles) it would hard start or start and then die. If it did this twice, it was flooded. Plugs did not fix it, coils did. Just to play, with new coils I started it and then shut it off 4 times in about a minute with no problems.
