What did they do to it?
Let me rephrase that.
Why did you take it to the shop?

So you went to go shopping for groceries turned off the car when you came back it was flooded? You have a Cel have you had the code read? The idle is lumpy and remains lumpy?

That means that you have some bad ignition coils. It happened to me a couple months back, multiple misfire rough as hell, and hard as hell to get started sometimes and hard to keep running.

By the way guys, he's in the UK.

Andy, if you do need to get parts, this forum will help. www.rotaryheaven.net
There also is, http://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/. But they require a paid membership to access their site.
It is a European rotary forum. They will direct you to the place for the lowest price.
