Not cranking with keys
After I get out of the gym today I go out to my car and turn the key. All the lights, radio, and ect. turn on. But when I go to crank the engine it does nothing. Literally. It was working all day before. Although it did happen to me the day before but after a couple tries it started working again.
I don't think its my battery or my alternator. I could roll start it fine and it would stay running until I would turn it off. But after I turn it off it will not turn on with the key. But when I do turn the key I can hear a click. I think it might be the starter relay or something.
What is the problem? No check engine light or battery light is on. Help pleaseeeee

Check your clutch start switch... the one that when you press the clutch pedal, it pushes the plunger "in" on this switch. It's located on the right side of the clutch bracket, under the dash.
Press the plunger all the way down with your finger (trans in neutral) and turn the key. If this is your issue, its a $14 switch from O'Reilly and takes all of 30 seconds to swap.
A note, however, when you do this you take the switch out of adjustment and either have to A. buy a new switch or B. remove the switch from the clutch bracket and "pull" the plunger out until it hits its mechanical limit. Then re-install it and press the clutch once to "set" it and then of course see if it still works.
If this doesn't do the trick, check wiring to the starter, then the starter itself.

Does it make a hard noise? Like it is engaging with the flyweel but not turning?
Of so, its one of 2:
-Battery
-starter (its a solenoid if I'm not mistaken, it completes the circuit so the starter can spin/crank)
Sometimes a quick REMEDY (not a fix) is just a few (physical) hits and go, did that on my Nissan once :-) worked like a charm.
