Nitrous fuel leak
Ok, so since i just moved to the mountains i decided to check everything on the 8 after a few long trips, i noticed that the fuel like was SLIGHTLY leaking where it is connected from underneath the upper intake manifold. (checked this and the reason it is was due to a poor nitrous instillation. Just didnt tighten it up enough or something) anyways problem was i have no tools and no time right now to work on it, so i took it to the first shop i could find. the guy tells me that he had to order a "fuel line kit" that costs over 300 dollars...because the fuel hose on there would not go over the little stump that it needs to... now i know exactly what he's talking about...but i thought it would fit over it. and also. why on earth would it cost 300 dollars. it is just the fuel line, and he is quoting me that price, not including labor. Should i call him on it? I'd like to have some hard evidence (actual price of required part) before i do. thanks.

If you bought the kit from us then send Charles a PM and he might have some tips for you. We've got a turbo installation this weekend so if he doesn't get back to you right away he will as soon as he gets to the PC.
