Hey guys, been awhile since I dropped in... I'm in a bit of a bad position.

First: My driver door jammed on me, the lock would unlock but the door would not budge or open.

Second: My battery is dead so now I can't even get in through the passenger door (since it doesn't have a key insert).

With the driver door being dead, the trigger would not unlock my passenger side. And since the battery is dead, my remote entry is useless.

I tried looking for a hood pop (most old cars have a cable that you can yank on and it would pop the hood)... I also tried to go through the trunk but couldn't figure out how to get the pass through to.... pass through.

Anyways, I need major help. I just want to get in my car so I can take it to the mechanic who can fix my door. But, in order to do that I need to get to my battery...

I think your best bet is to call a towing service to have them open the door for you... It will cost you quite a bit though.

A locksmith can unlock your door. It might cost less than breaking your window.

It's likely a broken spring in the lock mechanism (somewhat common issue in older 8's) and a locksmith won't be able to get the drivers door open but they can open the passenger side. Pop-a-lock only charges like $50.00 in my area. And once you get it open you can search for the fix on the door lock. It's a bitch to fix but doable (myself and others have done it).

Mine makes a tick tick tick sound in the passenger side door when you open and close it, i wonder what's wrong with it...
