How do i program the central locking
Hi all,
I recently had to replace the battery in the key of a 2007 model RX8 and the central locking will not work.
Could anyone assist me in rectifying this issue,I would greatly appreciate it.
Cheers,
Casper.

It's really easy to do and if you really searched, the thread below should yield you to your answer.
[quote=Grace_Excel;4370939]One key will program the switchblade FOB, two working keys will program another key. The answers are in the thread, if you scroll up to the top, you will see the type of FOB needed for this to work. As I have explained before, the programming instructions in this thread is for the switchblade and WILL NOT work with the original 2004 OEM keychain FOB.
Here is the summary of everything (everyone) needed to know:

Read the procedure. You've got everything you need (except the switchblade and blank) to do it yourself with a quick trip to a hardware store to copy your existing (not valet) key to the blank.
If your FOB goes bad you don't need any working ones to program the new one. All you need is ONE functioning key (fully functioning, unlocks and starts car). They all get re-registered when you follow the specific procedure for them... again, documented above.
