Unhappy Need some help!

Hello everyone,
My girlfriend and I were driving up the grapevine a few minutes ago when she said the car died as she coasted into the rest stop. I tried to start the car, and it wouldn't turn over. We waited 5-10 minutes and I started it with the gas pedal all the way down. Everything seemed back to normal so I got back on the freeway and 8.5 miles later the car died again on the freeway?
I did a quick forum search with my phone and decided to post here for help. Some of the posts said plugs, wires, coils and cat? Everything but the cat was replaced last fall... I'm kinda stranded (4 hours from home) at the top of the mountain until she starts again. Shes got about 93000 miles and I've got my tool box - any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

If the car just died while driving and didn't give other indications that something was wrong, I would first verify there isn't a loose connection to the battery.
Would explain why the car dies while driving (vibration), but starts when the car is stationary.

On the road again, thanks for the input. It definitely wasn't gas :-) I think it just needed a hug!
