Need new battery?

For the last two weeks I have been having problems with my battery, if leave the ready on for 10 to 15 mins the car won't start but the radio will still work. I have always left the car on lot longer never had this problem, also if I wait few hours the car will start( after a few cranks). The battery is about year old ( was replaced by dealer due to engine flooding). What do you guys think the problem is?

Not sure what you mean by "..leave the ready on...", but verify that the battery cable connections at the battery and at the ground(s) are tight, and look for corrosion at the battery terminals. If all connections are tight and clean, have the battery and alternator checked out, and determine the dark current (i.e., with everything shut down) draw on the battery. If the current drain is greater than about 20mA, something is not shutting down and drawing too much energy with the car shut down. That calls for some troubleshooting to determine the cause of the drain on the battery.

Your battery *might be* on its last leg.

Have it check maybe ?

The radio shouldn't consume that much power in 10 minutes. Is this stock radio, at normal listening levels? Or are you trying to rock the block?
