need help. rough idle

I have the sr intake in my car, after instaling this, I have experienced rough idle.
At first it was bad, but now not as bad. I would still like to eliminate this if possible. What do I do? thanks

how long have you had it on, sometimes the computer has to take a week or so to learn the new situation with more air, etc. Explains why it slowly gets better.

another solution, you may want to put screens from the stock airbox in front of the maf sensor like philodox did in his thread on the greddy turbo. Helped with my idle and stalling issues when i went turbo. Calms the air down before it reaches the MAF.

Were exactly and how would I put the stock screens in? Also, I am going to reset the computer,i.e. disconnect battery, as well and see if that helps. if you know of instructions for the screens or know of a thread, let me know. thanks

not sure on the sr intake, never had that, you will have to take it apart and put it before the maf sensor so that the air goes through the screens first.

If you disconnect the ecu and reset it, your idle will go back to being very bad cause the ecu has to relearn.

check this thread somewhere in there philodox talks about putting the screens in the air filter to solve his problems.
