Mileage Problem

Mileage Problem

I bought the car about 2 months ago it is an 05, when i bought it it had 15,xxx miles on it. Now i have 17,xxx miles on it and this morning i was driving it and all of the sudden it changed and now reads 28,xxx what is wrong with my car, why did it change the mileage all of a sudden

Someone crawled under your car in the night and attached a power drill to your odometer cable.

If it was 37k, I'd say that your odometer was reading in metric.

u changed it to metric. press the botton and change it back

yeah ok i know for a fact i did not change it my self i would have to hit and hold the little button and yes i have read the manual people but after doing some math i figured out that it was showing it to me in km but still showing my speed in mph so it wasnt my fault something got messed up it is back to normal after shutting off my car and turning it back on after awhile so thank you lilring for telling me that and not just being an a** like the majority of people on this forum

Its nice to know that your car did not go into self destruct mode.

If its really showing some Km and others in mph obviously there is a problem. Is it really that hard to understand the *problem* part and u gotta make a post to *ask* ?

I had to type the question fast because i was in the middle of something so sorry but it is all good now so it doesnt matter anymore i just get on here and watch so many people get flamed when they ask a question and it just makes me mad that some people cant just simply answer the guestion they have to call you a pos and stuff like that

yeah man. no problem. if you have any questions feel free to ask. i know alot about the 8 and if i dont know i can find out in less then 2 hours.
