Does the clock reset or simply not keep the correct time (like it doesn't change every 60 sec)?
Is it the clock on the car's LCD or is this a separate clock display with the Metro Kit?
I never messed with the kit so I'm unfamiliar with its functions?

If its not keeping the correct time, first thing that comes to mind is a bad crystal on the circuit board.
Do you recall any static shocks/discharges while installing it?
If the kit comes with its own time display, it might have came with a bad crystal on the circuit board.

Ahh... so this is a known issue with the Metro kit and early software versions?
Like I mentioned before, never messed with this kit.
