Never heard of any owner dealing directly with a tech at MNAO, but I guess anything is possible. Customer service will likely refer you to a dealer for correcting problems with the car. Of course, the dealer can contact Mazda tech directly on your behalf if they see the need to do so.

Your best bet may be to elaborate on your problem here and the more knowledgeable forum members may be able to help you figure out the best approach to getting your problem resolved.

EDIT: I see you have done that in another thread. Looks like your only recourse is to take it back to the dealer again and if that doesn't resolve the issue, look into your state lemon law. It may be that your state lemon law can be invoked after three unsuccessful attempts to resolve the same issue. Good luck.

Mazda Corp.

The dealer has notified Mazda and talked to the techs there. They claim to have engineers working on the problem. It is my A/C as stated in a ealier post. they have replace the amp. two times and the control panel once. The temp never gets below 50 degrees, no cool enough for SC days. The other 8's are getting 39 to 42 degree temp out of them. I talk directly with the sevice manager. Boy do they get mad when I call Mazda because they right a customer complaint up. But the last two times I called Mazda I told them they where the problem not the dealership. The dealship is doing all it can and is waiting on Mazda for a reply.
I still think it is the control head letting hot air in and not closing off. Thanks for your reply.

Worst Customer Service I have ever had.

Now waiting on Mazda Tech Line to call dealership. Maz. cust. service says this may take DAYS for them to get back to the dealership. This is the worst case of customer service I have ever had on a product. two weeks and waiting......

Just an FYI, I have a problem w/ my A/C as well.. it's actually the temp control.. The air mixing valve isn't working properly. I was able to diagnose this myself by looking at the drivers side on the center console (by the gas pedal).. as you turn the temp control you should see a motor turn SMOOTHLY to match.

In my case it's not. It jumps from all the way hot to all the way cold..

Unfortunatly, I go on vacation tommarow (wait.. unfortunatly?) so I won't be able to get to the dealer for "their" diagnosis of the issue until after.

Lightbulb A thought

I have had my RX 8 since Nov. 2003. I experienced the problem you are describing only once. I found that I caused it. Turns out if I had the air flow set for out side air, the A/C would of course attempt to cool the whole outside. Once I set it to recalculate I all but turned the car into a refer.

Just a thought. Hope you get your challenge corrected soon.
