little red house!!

I have an issue and not sure if its me or the car...so here it is..i have a check engine light i checked it and found i have a smal evap leak..ok no problem..but a few times i have noticed that when i open up my car on the hwy around 90mph..the cel starts flashing and the symbol that looks like a little red house comes on...( know that is the coolant symbol) ..normally when i'm in 4th or 5th gear around 7500 -8500 rpms..when i shift to 5th or 6th its goes away but my cel keeps flashing...any ideas..is it mt waiting to long to shift??

And I'm sure you verified that the coolant is topped-off... right?

W.T.F.

That's freaking 1xx miles per hour!

No wonder the engine is overheating.
Also check your cat, if you have a warranty I suggest go to the dealer asap..

As long as the CEL is on, the code can be pulled.
Just take it up to the local Autozone and they'll read it for free.
