I have a 2004 Mazda Rx8 and Whenever i rev my car over or around 7000 rpm the headlights go out along with the brights after sitting off to the side of the road without lights they turn back on in a couple mins. Now im not a car genius but to me that makes no since at all.. another thing is it doesn't always happen only once in awhile. Everything else is working but the headlights? so confused please help me with this problem RX8Club.com :D

How tight is your belt on the alternator? Also I would take your battery to auto zone and have them test it.

other than that you may have a loose ground or something else creating static int he system.
