unplug your front 02 sensor and see if your studder goes away.

i wish you had told me me you prefer the clusterf-ck committee approach so I wouldn't have wasted my time

At least it wasn't much of it at this point, good luck ..

You can ignore him. He is really knowledgeable, but sometimes he decides he just wants to be difficult and troublesome to prove a point that only he cares about. In this case, he missed that this is happening on the stock tune, and doesn't want to acknowledge that lapse.

Yea... Well I was finding his help useful, and hoping to get a tune from him, but alright

I meant you can ignore the attitude he has. He IS very knowledgeable, and can be a great help when he wants to be.

Agreed. But I can't do anything really to progress because my bumpe is being worked on currently so it'll be a few days

I didn't miss anything including the plethora of misinformed replies and he was better served divorcing himself from the thread by ignoring it instead, albeit at my insistence. You would be better served focusing on your own lapses, like making incorrect assertions in that fashion.

Once able to channel our energy in a coordinated, positive direction we figured out that the vacuum lines between the SSV and VDI were swapped without too much difficulty. This corrected the stutter issue, which I can assure you the OP cared as much or more about "proving that point" as I did.

We're now starting on the tuning out the grossly rich AFR areas, slow going since he started school and has minimum time. Nice guy though and he's proven to be more knowledgeable than I had expected, it's been a pleasure helping him out.

My assertion was that it was a hardware issue from the start, not a tune issue.

Which you ended up confirming.

Glad you were able to help him solve it.

As the OP states he has a rough idle and a stutter around 4000rpm. I just bought my 2005 RX8 this week and have noticed a stutter between 4-5000rpm. I'm new to the rotary engines and was wondering if you had any tips as to how to correct it.
