hey wanted to put out some information that might be helpfull to some.....i own a 2005 rx8 it recently flooded and ofc i deflooded as usual but when i started it up the car would idle but no acceleration and after checking vacume hoses i was stumped so combing through forums to get an idea of the problem i found out it was the ecu causing the problem the nvram needed to be reset so ......here is how you do that .......turn the key to on position but dont start the car...once the key is there you have to pump the brake pedal 20 times in 8 secs maybe......and problem solved
